It is easy to be manipulative when you have such an easy target.
Smooth tongue, soft words, low tone of voice.
Look at him with your head half-cocked, say the things he wants to hear.
Is he lonely?
Tell him he’ll never be alone again.
Is he sad?
Tell him his happiness lies in your hands.
Is he broken?
Promise that it will all be fixed in the morning.
Smile slowly, look into his eyes.
It doesn’t matter if he means two cents to you.
He’s good practice, isn’t he?
It’s not my fault if he takes it all to heart.
